Hey Guys, So I was on YouTube the other day and I came across arguably one of the best music videos ever made for an African act. I was so intrigued by the stunning visuals and how powerful the music sounded (Kwesta’s vocals are beastly by the way). I was immediately hooked and kept on watching this video and after going through the most positive YouTube Comment section I’ve ever seen (Nothing but praise) I found out the deeper meaning behind this beautiful work of Art. What I can only describe as poetry in motion.

The video captures various scenes from the black community in a post Apartheid South Africa. Showing the parallels between an older Generation stuck on religion & tradition and a Younger generation Living in the moment. Both parties trying to momentarily escape from the harsh realities in which they live. Visually you get to experience their Pain, Fears, Hopes and Dreams.

Also…Check out some beautiful scenes below 👇🏾👇🏾

Prayer in a Circle vs Car Drifting in a Circle
Men Jumping vs Kids Jumping
Woman Taking Holy Communion vs Girls taking Shots
Prayer session in river vs Kids Playing with water
